Kerry joined VAS in 2019 and has enjoyed working in various roles before moving to her current position earlier this year.
In this role, Kerry is involved in everything from recruitment and employee wellbeing, to keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently.
Kerry loves being part of a team that makes a real difference, and is keen to improve internal processes and help maintain a supportive and positive workplace environment, in line with VAS’ priorities.
When Kerry is not juggling tasks at work, she likes to keep active, travel, and socialise with friends and family.
Lottie has been at VAS since 2017 and has worked as Finance and Information Coordinator since May 2024. Joe has lived in Sheffield since 2023, after a period of moving around. The city quickly felt like home. It was Sheffield’s voluntary and community sector that first drew him to VAS, and he values being part of a movement shaped by people and purpose.
His role focuses on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes for the core team, helping to strengthen grassroots organisations and networks across the city. He is committed to challenging systemic inequalities and sees collective action and community organising as vital for meaningful change.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys reading, music, and spending time in the Peak District with friends.
Mina first joined VAS in 2022 as part of a placement with Healthwatch, where she completed a project exploring the links between the cost of living and health-related costs—and never wanted to leave. She then worked as Project Support Assistant on the Long Covid Project, before taking on the role of Executive Officer at the end of 2024, providing administrative support to the CEO and executive team.
A values-led organisation, VAS reflects Mina’s own commitment to health equity and social justice. With a background in Clinical Sciences, she is passionate about how the voluntary sector can support communities and strengthen existing resilience.
Outside of work, Mina enjoys baking (something the office seems to appreciate), spending time in nature, and all things music.
