At VAS, we understand the unique challenges faced by refugees and asylum seekers as they settle into life in Sheffield. We offer a range of services and guidance to help you navigate your transition, from accessing essential services to connecting with support networks and opportunities for integration. Together, we aim to build a welcoming and empowering community where everyone can feel valued and find their place.

We connect you with educational opportunities to help improve your skills and confidence. Whether you’re enhancing your English language proficiency or exploring new vocational skills, we’re here to support your growth.
2. Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteering is a great way to engage with your new community, gain valuable experience, and meet others. Our team will help you find the right opportunities that match your interests and skills, making sure it’s a rewarding experience for you.
3. Employment Support
We provide comprehensive support for individuals seeking employment, from guidance on job applications and interview preparation to connecting you with employers who value diversity.

We organise social activities aimed at reducing isolation and fostering inclusion. These activities provide a chance to build new friendships, share experiences, and feel a sense of belonging within the community.

We also welcome walk-ins at our Victoria Multi-Agency Drop-in every Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, where you can learn more about our services and register for activities.
