The Sheffield Autism Partnership Network (SAPN)

SAPN is a network of organisations from the voluntary, social enterprises, public, private and statutory sectors who work with and for Autistic people, as well as Autistic individuals and their support systems (parents, carers, friends, partners, etc.)

We share a vision and passion for a Sheffield where Autistic people can thrive.

As part of their purpose, they’re committed to identifying, developing, and supporting collaborative opportunities within the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector to support Autistic adults and their support systems.

They aim to build more collective strength and capacity into Sheffield’s Autism VCSE sectors by proactively implementing, growing, and reinforcing the links, resilience, and specialisms within the Autism VCSE sector.

Another key aspect of their purpose is to share knowledge and develop resources to educate and promote Autism acceptance, Autism –friendly service interfaces and knowledge and awareness of Autism across the Sheffield area. Reduce the stigma Autistic people face by supporting campaigns around public awareness and promoting the correct terminology used, with a view to reduce ableism/disablism.
